ABOUT THE ROLE -Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Automation Engineer to strengthen its Electrical & Automation team and support the design, automation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of flat steel processing lines, including Cold Rolling Mills, Galvanizing Lines, Color Coating Lines, and Pickling Lines.
ELIGIBILITY & CANDIDATE PROFILE •
Qualification: B.Tech / BE in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or Electrical & Communication Engineering (ECE). • Domain Experience: Mandatory hands-on experience in industrial automation for machinery or process lines. • Technical Interest: Strong interest in industrial electrical systems, PLCs, drives, HMIs, and automation. •
Experience Level: 3+ years of proven experience in industrial automation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES •
Supporting design, automation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of flat steel processing lines. • Working with PLCs, drives, HMIs, and industrial automation systems on-site and in design. • Diagnosing and resolving electrical and automation issues during commissioning and operation. • Coordinating with cross-functional engineering teams for smooth project execution. • Supporting site visits and travel as required for installation, commissioning, or troubleshooting.
KEY TECHNICAL & PROFESSIONAL SKILLS •
Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering. • Practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving.Working knowledge of PLCs, drives, HMIs, and automation systems. • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional engineering teams. • Willingness to work full-time, in-office, and travel to sites when required.
