Technical Project Manager

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and technically strong Technical Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and successfully deliver technology projects. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with developers, technical teams, clients, and stakeholders while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.
This role is suitable for someone with entry to mid-level project management experience who is looking to take ownership of projects and grow within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timelines, scope, and deliverables are clearly defined.
Create and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and task assignments.
Coordinate with developers, QA, designers, business teams, and other stakeholders.
Track project progress, identify risks or delays, and take corrective action.
Conduct regular project status meetings and provide clear progress updates.
Translate business requirements into actionable tasks for technical teams.
Work closely with technical teams to understand project requirements, dependencies, and challenges.
Monitor project scope and ensure changes are properly documented and communicated.
Identify project risks, blockers, and dependencies and escalate them when required.
Ensure deliverables meet agreed quality standards and deadlines.
Maintain project documentation, meeting notes, requirements, and status reports.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Support continuous improvement of project management processes and team workflows.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
1–4 years of experience in project management, technical project coordination, software development, or a related role.
Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience working with technical teams such as developers, QA, DevOps, or IT teams.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, ClickUp, or similar platforms.
Good understanding of project documentation, requirements gathering, and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a software/IT environment.
Familiarity with APIs, databases, cloud platforms, Git, or basic system architecture.
Experience with Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
CAPM, PMP, Scrum Master, or similar certification is a plus.
Experience working directly with clients or external stakeholders.
