Land Acquisition Head

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Land Acquisition Head role based in Bangalore Urban. The Land Acquisition Head will identify, evaluate, and secure land parcels aligned with the company’s retail, construction, and expansion strategies. Daily responsibilities include conducting market and site assessments, managing due diligence, negotiating with landowners, agents, and legal stakeholders, and coordinating documentation for land purchase and leasing. The role involves building and maintaining a strong network of local contacts, monitoring regulatory and zoning requirements, and preparing reports and recommendations for leadership. The Land Acquisition Head will collaborate closely with management, legal, finance, and project teams to ensure timely, cost-effective acquisitions that support the company’s growth plans.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to assess land value, market trends, feasibility, and regulatory considerations.
Candidates should possess Acquisitions and Customer Acquisition skills to source suitable land parcels, negotiate terms, and manage stakeholder relationships.
Candidates should possess Team Management and Sales skills to lead acquisition teams, drive targeted land deals, and support business expansion.
Relevant experience in land acquisition, real estate, or construction projects, preferably in urban and semi-urban markets.
In-depth knowledge of local real estate regulations, zoning laws, title verification, and land-related legal processes.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to work on-site, travel locally as required, and manage multiple projects with tight timelines.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
