Key Responsibilities for Accounts Managers
Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the organization.
Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting activities.
Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and accounting summaries.
Ensure accurate recording, classification, reconciliation, and reporting of financial transactions.
Monitor cash flow, banking activities, receipts, payments, and working capital requirements.
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
Conduct bank reconciliations, ledger reconciliations, and account balance reviews.
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, financial institutions, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, financial policies, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
Monitor accounts receivable, customer outstanding balances, collections, and credit control activities.
Review accounts payable, supplier invoices, payment schedules, and vendor account reconciliations.
Develop and maintain effective internal controls, accounting procedures, and financial processes.
Prepare budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and financial performance reports.
Identify financial discrepancies, accounting errors, control gaps, and opportunities for process improvement.
Support financial audits, tax assessments, statutory reporting, and documentation requirements.
Lead and guide accounting teams while ensuring timely, accurate, and confidential financial operations.
Eligibility Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 5–20 years of relevant experience (varies by country).
English communication skills.
