Role Description The Generative AI Specialist (Lead) is a full-time, on-site role based in Tamil Nadu, India. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing generative AI solutions that support T3Cogno’s HR and talent services, including tools for sourcing, screening, and candidate engagement. The specialist will lead experiments with large language models and related technologies, build scalable workflows, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing systems and processes. Day-to-day work includes data preparation, prompt engineering, model evaluation, documentation of best practices, and continuous refinement of AI-driven features based on user feedback and performance metrics. The lead will also mentor team members, contribute to AI strategy and governance, and ensure responsible use of AI aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in machine learning and generative AI, including experience with large language models, transformers, and related architectures.
Hands-on skills with Python and common ML/AI libraries or frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain, or similar tools).
Experience with data preparation, model evaluation, prompt engineering, and deployment of AI solutions into production environments.
Ability to translate HR or business requirements into technical AI solutions, especially in talent acquisition, candidate screening, or workforce analytics.
Experience leading projects or teams, with skills in stakeholder communication, cross-functional collaboration, and technical documentation.
Knowledge of ethical AI practices, data privacy, and responsible use of AI in people-related workflows.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Prior exposure to HRTech, recruitment platforms, or enterprise SaaS products is an advantage.
