Information Technology Executive

Role Description The Information Technology Executive is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure and services. The role includes managing IT operations, ensuring network reliability and security, and providing technical support to team members across global locations. Day-to-day tasks involve diagnosing and resolving technical issues, coordinating system upgrades, monitoring performance, and implementing best practices for data protection and compliance. The Information Technology Executive will collaborate with internal stakeholders to align technology solutions with business needs, support specialized clinical supply chain systems, and document processes and policies. This role also involves vendor coordination, capacity planning, and continuous improvement of IT tools and workflows.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Information Technology and IT Operations, with experience overseeing enterprise systems and services.
Hands-on skills in Troubleshooting and Technical Support to resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues efficiently.
Proficiency in Network Administration, including configuration, monitoring, and securing networks in a distributed environment.
Experience with cybersecurity practices, data protection, and compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 27001) is highly beneficial.
Ability to work effectively in a remote, global team setting with clear communication and documentation skills.
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+/Security+) are an advantage.
Experience supporting regulated environments or healthcare/clinical research technology systems is a plus.
