ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer with strong Linux System Administration skills and exposure to DevOps tools and cloud infrastructure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage, configure, and maintain infrastructure.
- Monitor existing infrastructure and troubleshoot issues.
- Create automation scripts using relevant tools and technologies.
- Design and operate secure, scalable, and reliable systems.
- Analyze production and load-test issues, identify bottlenecks, and optimize performance.
- Analyze application behavior and usage patterns for performance improvements.
- Work with DevOps tools to optimize processes.
- Install and configure applications/tools on Linux platforms.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- 1+ year of relevant experience OR 2+ years of Linux System Administration experience.
- Strong Linux knowledge.
- RHCE/RHCA certification or advanced Linux courses preferred.
- Experience with AWS or any cloud infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Shell Scripting, Python, or PHP is mandatory.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware/KVM; KVM preferred.
- Good knowledge of LVM, RAID, BIND, Nginx, and iptables.
- Experience with Redis, Apache Tomcat, or Apache Web Server.
- Good networking knowledge.
- Knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of Jenkins, Ansible/Chef/Puppet, Git, and Docker is preferred.
- Ability to work in a 24x7 environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
