About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Deputy Manager – Operations (E-commerce) to lead and manage our e-commerce client portfolio.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in BPO/E-commerce operations, people management, client handling, process improvement, and performance management.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage one or more projects and drive team performance and deliverables.
• Lead and guide team leads and associates.
• Act as the primary point of contact and solution provider for clients.
• Coordinate with clients, onsite managers, and offsite project managers.
• Manage operations across customer support, order management, vendor onboarding, cancellations, and logistics coordination.
• Resolve project-related queries and support the team in meeting operational goals.
• Conduct training for new project requirements, trainees, and replacements.
• Drive productivity and quality improvements quarter-on-quarter.
• Prepare MIS reports, Excel reports, process documents, and presentations.
• Identify system/process issues and implement process improvements.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs, policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
• 2+ years of people management experience
• Strong e-commerce industry background, preferably content/cataloging or related operations
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong MS Excel skills – Lookup, Pivot Tables, reporting, etc.
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint
• Ability to prepare and present professional documents
• Willingness to work in rotational and US shifts
