Qualification: B.E./B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science, IT, or related fields
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer with strong Linux System Administration skills and exposure to DevOps tools and cloud infrastructure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage, configure, and maintain infrastructure.
Monitor existing infrastructure and troubleshoot issues.
Create automation scripts using relevant tools and technologies.
Design and operate secure, scalable, and reliable systems.
Analyze production and load-test issues, identify bottlenecks, and optimize performance.
Analyze application behavior and usage patterns for performance improvements.
Work with DevOps tools to optimize processes.
Install and configure applications/tools on Linux platforms.
REQUIRED SKILLS
1+ year of relevant experience OR 2+ years of Linux System Administration experience
.Strong Linux knowledge
.RHCE/RHCA certification or advanced Linux courses preferred
.Experience with AWS or any cloud infrastructure
.Knowledge of Shell Scripting, Python, or PHP is mandatory
.Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware/KVM; KVM preferred
.Good knowledge of LVM, RAID, BIND, Nginx, and iptables
.Experience with Redis, Apache Tomcat, or Apache Web Server
.Good networking knowledge
.Knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL
.Knowledge of Jenkins, Ansible/Chef/Puppet, Git, and Docker is preferred
.Ability to work in a 24x7 environment
.Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
