Role Description The Legal Assistant/Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. This role involves supporting legal operations by preparing and organizing legal documents, maintaining case files, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. The Legal Assistant will coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, schedule meetings and hearings, and assist in drafting correspondence and basic legal notes under supervision. Daily responsibilities also include handling routine administrative tasks, managing document filing systems, and helping ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements. The position requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced real estate environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B.) preferred.
Graduates with relevant legal documentation experience in the real estate sector may also be considered.
Certification in Legal Studies or Paralegal Studies will be an added advantage.
Experience
3–6 years of experience in the legal department of a real estate developer, construction company, infrastructure company, or law firm handling real estate matters.
Experience in drafting and managing property-related legal documentation is preferred.
Technical Skills
Strong legal drafting skills.
Knowledge of property laws and real estate documentation.
Familiarity with RERA, Registration Act, Transfer of Property Act, Stamp Act, and Contract Act.
Excellent document formatting and proofreading skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PDF editing software.
Experience with legal document management systems is desirable.
