Cedilla Interactive is a performance-first digital marketing agency in Chennai. We work with builders, developers, and local service brands — businesses where one good reel or one sharp carousel visibly moves the phone-call count.
We're hiring one person to own social media end to end. Not a manager who briefs a creator. Not a creator who waits for a brief. One person who decides what goes out, makes it, ships it, and reads the numbers afterwards.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Strategy & planning
Build and run monthly content calendars for 4–6 brands — themes, formats, posting rhythm, campaign tie-ins
Set the tone of voice and visual direction for each brand and hold it consistent across platforms
Plan around launches, site events, festivals, and local moments that matter to a Chennai audience.
Creation
Write the copy: captions, reel scripts, carousel hooks, ad creatives
Shoot and edit short-form video — site visits, walkthroughs, founder bytes, testimonials, trend-led content
Design or direct the static and carousel work.
Management & growth
Schedule and publish across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube
Handle community management — comments, DMs, and routing genuine enquiries to the sales team fast
Track performance monthly, report it clearly to clients, and change what isn't working
Work with the ads team so organic content and paid campaigns pull in the same direction
Coordinate photographers, videographers and influencers when a shoot needs more hands
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
[2–4] years running social media for brands or an agency — or your own page with real traction
Strong English writing, with an understanding of Tamil-audience nuance (bilingual copy is a big plus)
Comfortable with Premiere Pro / CapCut / Canva / Figma, and able to shoot usable footage on a phone
Reads a dashboard without flinching — reach, saves, CTR, cost per lead
Thinks in hooks, not just aesthetics. You know why the first two seconds decide everything
Can take a brief on Monday and have something shootable by Tuesday
Organised enough to juggle several brands without dropping a calendar.
