The Role
We are seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to connect financial analysis with commercial strategy and business performance. This part-time remote opportunity is suited to a finance professional who can translate financial information into practical business insights, support planning activities, and collaborate with stakeholders across different functions. The role will contribute to budgeting, forecasting, performance management, and commercial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Develop financial analysis and insights to support commercial decision-making.
Support budgeting, forecasting, planning, and periodic financial reviews.
Analyze revenue, costs, margins, profitability, and key business performance indicators.
Partner with commercial and operational teams to evaluate business opportunities.
Prepare management reports, financial summaries, and performance recommendations.
Monitor financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and agreed objectives.
Support pricing, investment, cost-management, and business-case analysis where required.
Identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities and communicate relevant findings.
Improve financial reporting processes and strengthen commercial performance visibility.
Provide guidance to stakeholders on financial information and business planning activities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in commercial finance, FP&A, accounting, or financial analysis is preferred.
Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
Knowledge of profitability analysis, cost management, revenue analysis, and business reporting.
Familiarity with commercial decision-making and financial modelling principles.
Proficiency in spreadsheets and financial reporting systems.
Ability to interpret financial data and translate findings into practical business recommendations.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a remote environment.
Strong commercial awareness, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities.
