Company Description Shieldworkz is an industrial cybersecurity company with operations in Bengaluru, Abu Dhabi, and Bonn, serving global clients in critical infrastructure and manufacturing. The company specializes in Operational Technology (OT) and Internet of Things (IoT) security, helping organizations protect connected industrial systems. Shieldworkz has developed its own cybersecurity platform that provides Network Detection and Response, vulnerability management, and asset inventory capabilities. Team members collaborate with cybersecurity professionals and industry experts to address emerging industrial threats and support innovation in secure industrial operations.
Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Marketing Intern at Shieldworkz. The Marketing Intern will support the marketing team in executing campaigns, assisting with market research on industrial cybersecurity trends, and gathering competitive intelligence. Daily tasks include helping create marketing collateral, updating content for digital channels, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging. The intern will also help track campaign performance metrics, support basic sales enablement activities, and contribute to customer-facing communication and service initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
Strong Communication skills for clear written and verbal interaction with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Ability to conduct Market Research to analyze industry trends, customer needs, and competitors in the cybersecurity domain.
Interest in Sales support activities, including lead follow-up, basic sales outreach, and preparing sales materials.
Understanding of Marketing Strategy principles and willingness to contribute ideas to campaigns and brand positioning.
Customer Service orientation with a focus on responsiveness, professionalism, and relationship-building.
Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
Comfort working in a remote environment, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Interest in cybersecurity or technology sectors; prior exposure or coursework in these areas is beneficial.
Basic familiarity with digital marketing tools (e.g., social media platforms, email marketing, analytics) is an advantage.
