Role Description This is a full-time, remote contractor role for a Tableau Product Manager (BI platform owner) with fluent English. The professional will own and manage the Tableau BI platform, defining product vision, roadmap, and standards for dashboards and reports. Day-to-day tasks include gathering and prioritizing business requirements, coordinating with stakeholders, and translating needs into scalable Tableau solutions. The role involves ensuring data quality, optimizing performance, overseeing governance and access controls, and supporting best practices in data visualization. The Tableau Product Manager will also collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to drive adoption, train users, and continuously improve the BI ecosystem.
Qualifications
Strong experience with Tableau platform management, including dashboard/report development, performance optimization, and governance.
Background in business intelligence and data analytics, including requirements gathering, KPI definition, and data visualization best practices.
Ability to communicate clearly in fluent English, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and present complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
Experience working in remote, distributed teams, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
Familiarity with data warehousing, SQL, and integration between BI tools and data sources is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience as a product manager, BI platform owner, or similar role in analytics or data-driven environments is a strong plus.
