Role Description This full-time remote role is for a Tableau Certified Lead / Manager acting as a BI Product Owner, focused on serving U.S.-based clients while located in LATAM. The professional will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of business intelligence products, from understanding stakeholder requirements and translating them into BI solutions, to prioritizing product backlogs and overseeing delivery. Day-to-day tasks include designing and managing Tableau dashboards, refining data models, coordinating data warehousing initiatives, and ensuring data quality and consistency across multiple sources. The role also involves collaborating with business and technical teams, conducting analytical reviews to generate insights, and presenting findings in fluent English to executive and operational stakeholders. Continuous improvement of BI tools, documentation, and best practices will be a key part of the position.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights.
Proficiency in data modeling and data warehousing concepts to support scalable and reliable BI solutions.
Hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining dashboards, with a focus on usability and performance.
Advanced knowledge of business intelligence tools, especially Tableau (Tableau certification required).
Fluent English communication skills (spoken and written), with the ability to interact confidently with U.S.-based stakeholders.
Proven experience as a BI lead, manager, or product owner, including backlog management and requirements gathering.
Familiarity with SQL and relational databases; experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage priorities, and collaborate across time zones.
Experience working with international or U.S.-based companies is highly desirable.
