Role Description The Admission Counselor role is a full-time remote position responsible for guiding prospective students and families through Edudrona’s enrollment process. On a day-to-day basis, the counselor will handle inbound inquiries, conduct outbound follow-ups, explain course offerings, and provide clear information on programs, schedules, and pricing. The role includes assessing students’ academic needs, recommending appropriate courses, and coordinating with the academic team to ensure a smooth onboarding experience. The counselor will maintain accurate records in CRM or other systems, respond to questions via phone, email, and messaging platforms, and support applicants from initial contact through admission confirmation. The position also involves meeting enrollment targets, participating in virtual information sessions, and providing a positive, service-oriented experience to all prospective learners and their guardians.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills to interact effectively with students and families in a clear, empathetic manner.
Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to provide prompt, courteous support and resolve inquiries throughout the admissions process.
Candidates should possess Sales skills to convert leads into enrollments, manage follow-ups, and work toward defined admission targets.
Candidates should possess an understanding of Education practices and basic academic structures to accurately guide learners on suitable courses and curricula.
Relevant skills such as proficiency with online communication tools, CRM or admission management systems, and basic data entry are beneficial.
A bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in admissions, counseling, or educational services.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities is required.
