Crypto Investment Associate

Role
We are seeking a Crypto Investment Associate to support our investment team across market research, trading operations, investment analysis, and investor reporting. The ideal candidate has a genuine understanding of cryptocurrency markets, practical exposure to trading or investment research, and the ability to independently execute analytical and operational tasks in a fast-paced hedge fund environment. This role requires someone who can work closely with experienced crypto traders, understand market dynamics, and contribute to the development of data-driven investment strategies.
Responsibilities
Conduct research on cryptocurrency markets, tokens, protocols, and investment opportunities.
Support trading operations, portfolio monitoring, and investment-related analysis.
Collect, analyze, and validate market data for investment models.
Assist in developing and maintaining financial models, trading analytics, and performance reports.
Prepare and update investor presentations, performance reports, and fund documentation.
Research market trends, token performance, and relevant industry developments.
Support the evaluation of trading strategies and historical performance.
Collaborate with traders, investment professionals, and technical teams.
Identify opportunities to improve research, reporting, and investment workflows.
Execute assigned tasks independently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Qualifications
Relevant experience in investment research, trading, financial analysis, asset management, or a
related field.
Strong understanding of financial markets and investment fundamentals.
Demonstrable knowledge of cryptocurrency markets and trading dynamics.
Experience conducting financial or market research.
Strong analytical and quantitative reasoning skills.
Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
Experience creating professional presentations and financial reports.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver accurate work under deadlines.
Willingness to work US/California-aligned hours.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with crypto portfolio management, trading strategies, or quantitative analysis.
Familiarity with on-chain analytics and blockchain data.
Experience working with trading dashboards, market data APIs, or analytical tools.
Experience working at a hedge fund, proprietary trading firm, or crypto investment company.
Familiarity with DeFi, token economics, and digital asset market structure.

skills. You should be comfortable researching unfamiliar assets, understanding trading strategies,
working with data, and producing high-quality investment and investor-facing materials.
The core requirement is investment and market competence. Crypto-native technical knowledge and
blockchain-specific tools are valuable advantages, but they should not replace fundamental
investment experience.
