We’re Hiring | Senior Piping Draftsman
Arnita Consultants is looking for an experienced Senior Piping Draftsman to join our engineering design team. The role involves developing detailed piping drawings, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, reviewing designs, and supporting the successful execution of pharmaceutical and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and develop detailed piping layouts, arrangements, sections, and piping drawings.
Develop piping drawings based on engineering requirements and project specifications.
Review and modify drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
Coordinate with process, mechanical, civil, structural, and other engineering disciplines.
Support project teams in resolving technical and drafting-related issues.
Review vendor drawings and incorporate required revisions.
Guide and support junior draftsmen in day-to-day drafting activities.
Ensure drawings are completed within project timelines and meet required quality standards.
Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
6–8 years of relevant experience in piping drafting.
Experience in pharmaceutical, API, FMCG, or industrial projects is preferred.
Hands-on experience with Revit and Plant 3D is preferred.
Skills
Strong knowledge of piping layouts and drafting practices.
Proficiency in relevant CAD/BIM software.
Good understanding of piping standards and engineering drawings.
Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
Ability to independently handle drafting assignments and support junior team members.
Location
Mumbai – Candidates based in Mumbai will be preferred.
