Role Description The Executive Vice President is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading strategic initiatives, driving business performance, and overseeing key operational functions across National General Insurance 1. This position provides executive leadership to senior management teams, setting clear goals, priorities, and performance standards that align with the company’s long-term vision. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating business results, guiding financial and operational planning, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and risk management frameworks. The Executive Vice President collaborates with cross-functional leaders to optimize processes, enhance customer and partner experiences, and support product and market development. This role also represents the organization in high-level internal and external meetings, champions organizational culture, and mentors emerging leaders.
Qualifications
Extensive executive leadership experience in insurance, financial services, or a related industry, with a track record of managing complex organizations and large teams.
Strong strategic planning and business development capabilities, including experience with market growth, product expansion, and organizational transformation.
Deep understanding of financial management, budgeting, and performance metrics, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Knowledge of insurance operations, regulatory requirements, compliance, and risk management frameworks relevant to property and casualty insurance.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and collaborate in a remote environment.
Demonstrated ability to lead change, foster an inclusive and equitable workplace, and develop high-performing, diverse teams.
Strong problem-solving, analytic, and decision-making skills, with comfort operating in fast-paced and evolving business conditions.
Advanced degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent leadership experience in lieu of formal education will be considered.
