Role Description The Director of Project Management is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives across Credo Ventures’ portfolio and internal operations. This role leads the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic programs, ensuring projects are aligned with business objectives, delivered on time, and within scope and budget. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining project roadmaps, managing timelines and resource allocation, coordinating cross-functional teams, and establishing clear communication channels with internal and external stakeholders. The Director will develop and refine project management processes, monitor risks and dependencies, and implement corrective actions as needed. This role also involves mentoring project managers, setting standards and best practices, and providing regular status reporting and performance insights to senior leadership.
Qualifications
Strong project and program management skills, including experience leading complex, multi-phase initiatives (Program Management, Project Management).
Demonstrated ability to create, manage, and track budgets, with a focus on financial accountability and return on investment (Budgeting).
Proven team leadership capabilities, including coaching, performance management, and fostering collaborative, inclusive team environments (Team Leadership).
Experience designing, implementing, and optimizing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and consistency across projects (Process Improvement).
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to executive stakeholders and diverse audiences.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of data-informed decision-making.
Experience working in investment, consulting, technology, or high-growth environments is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in business, management, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, Agile/SAFe) are a plus.
Comfort operating in a remote setting, with strong organizational skills and proficiency in modern collaboration and project management tools.
