SDE I (UI)

We are looking for a UI Engineer - 1 who is curious, strong in frontend fundamentals, and eager to build reliable user-facing products. This role is suited for early-career frontend engineers who enjoy solving problems, writing clean code, and learning through collaboration. Responsibilities:
Analyze product and technical problems and design efficient solutions with a focus on performance and customer experience.
Build user-facing web interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and preferably React or a similar framework.
Translate product requirements into clean, functional, and maintainable UI.
Debug frontend issues and reason through code behavior step by step.
Apply basic security best practices across all features you build.
Write unit tests (and higher-level tests with senior guidance) covering happy paths, edge cases, and robust error handling.
Write readable and organized code that other engineers can understand and maintain.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product teams to ship reliable frontend experiences.
Requirements:
0-2 years of frontend engineering experience (including internships, academic, or personal projects).
Good understanding of JavaScript fundamentals: closures, scope, event loop, async behavior, prototypes, and "this. "
Working knowledge of React or similar frontend frameworks.
Basic understanding of UI architecture: components, state, props, rendering, and data flow.
Awareness of web performance and test-driven development.
Ability to communicate thought processes clearly while solving problems.
Experience with browser devtools and basic debugging.
