Backend Engineer

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python.
Integrate and manage multiple external APIs, ensuring reliability, performance, and fault tolerance.
Build and optimize data ingestion, validation, transformation, and processing pipelines.
Analyze data flows and system performance to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
Architect backend services that are scalable, secure, and resilient.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, data, and frontend engineering.
Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting to ensure system health and reliability.
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance.
Requirements:
5-7 years of backend development experience.
Strong proficiency in Python and backend frameworks (e. g., FastAPI, Django, Flask).
Proven experience integrating third-party APIs and handling complex data exchanges.
Solid understanding of RESTful services and asynchronous processing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and data modeling.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience designing data pipelines or ETL systems.
Exposure to distributed systems or event-driven architectures.
Experience with cloud infrastructure and containerized deployments.
Knowledge of caching strategies and performance optimization techniques.
Experience working with high-volume or real-time data systems.
