DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application build, testing, and deployment.
Manage and automate cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Monitor application and infrastructure performance, availability, and reliability.
Configure logging, monitoring, alerting, and incident-response processes.
Automate repetitive operational tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Manage source-code repositories and branching strategies using Git.
Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams.
Troubleshoot build, deployment, infrastructure, and production issues.
Implement security and access-control best practices across infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
Support application releases, upgrades, migrations, and production deployments.
Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
Required Skills
Strong understanding of DevOps principles and SDLC.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Good knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools.
Strong knowledge of Git and version-control practices.
Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Understanding of networking, security, DNS, load balancing, and cloud infrastructure.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, or CloudWatch.
Knowledge of microservices and distributed systems.
Experience with Helm and Kubernetes administration.
Knowledge of security and DevSecOps practices.
