Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
Conduct requirement-gathering sessions, interviews, and workshops.
Translate business requirements into clear functional requirements and user stories.
Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement.
Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
Collaborate with developers, QA teams, product teams, and business stakeholders.
Define acceptance criteria and support the testing/UAT process.
Analyze business data and prepare reports to support decision-making.
Track requirements throughout the project lifecycle and manage changes.
Identify business risks, dependencies, and potential solutions.
Prepare presentations and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Support implementation, deployment, and post-implementation activities.
Required Skills
Strong business and analytical thinking.
Excellent requirement-gathering and documentation skills.
Knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience creating BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases, and process flows.
Good understanding of SQL and data analysis.
Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar tools.
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to convert complex business requirements into clear and actionable specifications.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of Power BI/Tableau.
Basic knowledge of APIs and system integrations.
Understanding of database concepts.
Experience with process modelling and BPMN.
Familiarity with Agile tools and ceremonies.
Domain knowledge in areas such as finance, healthcare, retail, banking, or technology is an advantage.
