Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchase & Store In-Charge, based in Hyderabad. The role involves managing procurement of materials, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely availability of inventory to support production and project requirements. Responsibilities include overseeing store operations, maintaining accurate stock records, implementing inventory control processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The Purchase & Store In-Charge monitors material receipt and issuance, conducts regular stock audits, and works to prevent losses and discrepancies. The role also includes collaboration with internal teams to meet operational needs, optimize costs, and support high levels of customer satisfaction through efficient material management.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service skills to support internal and external stakeholders effectively.
Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for coordinating with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams.
Candidates should possess Store Management skills, including inventory control, stock reconciliation, and documentation.
Candidates should possess Retail Loss Prevention skills to minimize shrinkage, ensure compliance, and maintain accurate records.
Relevant experience in purchase, stores, or inventory management in manufacturing or steel industry is preferred.
Working knowledge of ERP or inventory management systems and MS Office tools is beneficial.
Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Commerce, or a related field is an advantage.
Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to work on-site in a fast-paced industrial environment are required.
