Role Description The Website Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining responsive, user-friendly websites and web applications. Day-to-day tasks include developing front-end interfaces, implementing back-end functionality, optimizing site performance, and ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility. The role also involves collaborating with design, content, and network teams to integrate visual assets, content, and backend services, as well as troubleshooting issues and deploying updates. This is a full-time, on-site role based in India, requiring regular coordination with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure high-quality delivery aligned with business goals.
Qualifications
Strong Front-End Development skills, including responsive Web Design and modern frameworks or libraries (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and general Web Development practices, including server-side programming, APIs, and database integration.
Solid Programming fundamentals, with experience in commonly used web languages and tools, and ability to write clean, maintainable code.
Understanding of UI/UX principles, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization for web applications.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Ability to analyze requirements, solve technical problems, and work effectively in an on-site team environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Familiarity with security best practices, SEO basics, and deploying websites on common hosting environments is a plus.
