Structural Lead / Building Inspector

We are seeking an experienced Structural Lead / Building Inspector to oversee structural design, building inspections, technical compliance, and structural safety across construction and development projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead structural inspections, assessments, design reviews, and technical evaluations.
Review structural drawings, calculations, specifications, and construction works for compliance and quality.
Identify and assess structural defects, safety issues, construction risks, and remedial requirements.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, authorities, and project teams.
Prepare inspection reports, technical assessments, recommendations, and compliance documentation.
Monitor construction quality, structural integrity, and adherence to approved designs and standards.
Provide technical guidance on structural issues, repairs, strengthening, and building performance.
Requirements & Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building Surveying, or a related field.
Proven experience in structural engineering, building inspection, structural assessment, or a related senior role.
Strong knowledge of structural systems, construction methods, building codes, inspection procedures, and safety standards.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, structural analysis software, or relevant technical tools.
Strong technical, analytical, communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with contractors, consultants, authorities, and multidisciplinary project teams.
Professional accreditation such as PE, Chartered Engineer, RICS, or equivalent is an advantage.
Experience in commercial, residential, infrastructure, or large-scale building projects is preferred.
