Role Description The Engineering Manager for Canada Opportunities will lead engineering initiatives that support technology solutions and tools used by Esse India’s consulting and visa services teams. This full-time, on-site role in Canada involves managing a team of engineers, overseeing software development projects, and ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of technical solutions aligned with business needs. The Engineering Manager will coordinate cross-functional project planning, monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure effective integration of systems and platforms used for client engagement and process tracking. Day-to-day responsibilities include mentoring team members, setting technical direction, collaborating with stakeholders, and continuously improving engineering practices and workflows.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Engineering Management skills, including the ability to define technical roadmaps and oversee complex initiatives.
Candidates should possess Team Leadership skills, with experience in mentoring, performance management, and building collaborative engineering teams.
Candidates should possess Software Development skills, with hands-on experience in modern development practices and technologies relevant to web-based platforms.
Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including planning, prioritization, resource allocation, and risk management.
Candidates should possess Integration skills, with experience connecting multiple systems, APIs, and tools to create seamless workflows.
Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
