About Foundlogue ✍️
Foundlogue is a new-age editorial platform dedicated to documenting the journeys behind founders and the brands they build.
Our focus is not startup news, funding announcements or generic company profiles. We want to tell the story that comes before the success — where founders came from, what shaped them, how the idea originated, how they started from zero, the early struggles, first customers, failures, turning points and the journey through which an idea became a company.
Our belief is simple:
Every founder has a prologue.
We are currently building the founding editorial team and are looking for a full-time Content Writer (Editorial) based in Bengaluru.
🛡️ What you’ll do
You will work closely with the Founder and help shape some of Foundlogue’s earliest stories.
Your responsibilities will include:
✔Research founders, companies, industries and relevant background before interviews.
✔Participate in and, over time, conduct founder interviews.
✔Turn founder conversations and transcripts into compelling long-form editorial stories.
✔Write profiles that capture the founder’s journey, struggles, decisions, milestones and the evolution of the brand.
✔Develop strong story angles, headlines, introductions and narrative structures.
✔Fact-check names, dates, company milestones, quotations and other information before publication.
✔Work with transcripts, recordings, research material and AI-assisted editorial tools to develop drafts efficiently.
✔Edit and refine AI-assisted drafts so the final story feels original, human and editorially strong.
✔Create shorter versions of stories for LinkedIn, newsletters and other Foundlogue channels.
✔Identify interesting founder stories and contribute ideas to the editorial calendar.
✔Work with our graphic design team on Founder Roadmaps, quote cards and visual storytelling formats.
✔Support the development of Foundlogue’s podcast and video interview content.
✔Maintain consistency in Foundlogue’s editorial tone, quality and storytelling standards.
🎯 Who we’re looking for
We’d like to meet someone who genuinely enjoys discovering the story behind the person, rather than simply producing content.
You could come from a background in:
✅ Journalism
✅ Content writing
✅ Business writing
✅ Editorial publishing
✅ Magazine writing
✅ Feature writing
✅ Digital media
✅ Communications
You should ideally have:
✅ Excellent written English.
✅ Strong storytelling and narrative-writing ability.
✅ Curiosity about founders, entrepreneurship, brands and businesses.
✅ Good research skills and attention to detail.
✅ Ability to listen to a long conversation and identify the story within it.
✅ Confidence communicating with founders and senior professionals.
✅ An understanding of fact-checking and responsible editorial practices.
✅ Ability to manage multiple stories and deadlines.
✅ Comfort using AI tools as part of the writing/research workflow while maintaining editorial judgment and originality.
Experience writing about startups, founders, entrepreneurship, brands or business is an advantage, but not mandatory.
❌ What we are NOT looking for
This is not primarily an SEO-blog-writing role.
We are not looking for someone whose approach is simply:
Keyword → AI-generated article → publish.
Foundlogue is being built around original conversations and human stories. AI will help us work efficiently, but curiosity, interviewing, editorial judgment and storytelling must come from the writer.

💼 Work arrangement
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Bengaluru.
Candidates should be comfortable working from Bengaluru and attending in-person meetings, founder interviews, recordings and editorial sessions when required.
💵 Compensation
✅Compensation will be based on experience, writing ability and overall fit for the role.
