Electrical Engineer / Quality Engineer
Role Description
We are seeking a technically skilled, analytical, and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer / Quality Engineer to support electrical engineering activities while ensuring products, systems, and processes meet defined quality, safety, and performance standards. The role combines electrical engineering knowledge with quality assurance, testing, inspection, and continuous improvement responsibilities.
Key responsibilities include supporting electrical design, testing, troubleshooting, validation, inspection, and technical documentation. You will review electrical drawings, specifications, components, and systems to ensure compliance with project requirements, applicable standards, and safety regulations.
The role also involves developing and implementing quality control procedures, conducting inspections and tests, identifying defects or non-conformities, analyzing root causes, and supporting corrective and preventive actions. You will collect and analyze quality data, prepare technical and quality reports, monitor key performance indicators, and identify opportunities to improve product reliability and process efficiency.
You will collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, contractors, quality teams, and other stakeholders to resolve technical and quality issues. The position also requires supporting audits, maintaining accurate records, reviewing test results, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across electrical and production processes.
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, testing methods, quality assurance, and quality control practices.
Knowledge of electrical standards, safety requirements, inspection procedures, and technical specifications.
Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and test documentation.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with quality tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Analysis, FMEA, SPC, CAPA, and basic statistical methods is an advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and relevant engineering or quality management software.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy, safety, and product quality.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple technical and quality tasks.
