Architect

Role Description
An Architect is responsible for developing architectural designs, preparing technical drawings, and delivering practical, functional, and compliant design solutions while coordinating with clients, consultants, engineers, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
Develop architectural concepts, layouts, plans, elevations, and details.
Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
Translate client requirements into practical design solutions.
Coordinate architectural designs with structural, civil, and MEP teams.
Conduct site visits, inspections, and design assessments.
Review shop drawings, materials, and technical submissions.
Ensure designs comply with building codes, regulations, and project requirements.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and authorities.
Identify and resolve design conflicts and technical issues.
Monitor construction work against approved designs and specifications.
Support RFIs, design changes, variations, and site-related matters.
Assist with authority submissions, permits, and project approvals.
Prepare design presentations, reports, and project updates.
Support value engineering and cost-effective design solutions.
Maintain design quality, accuracy, and project compliance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
Relevant experience in architectural design, construction, or consultancy.
Strong knowledge of architectural principles, materials, and construction detailing.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar design software.
Experience preparing technical and construction drawings.
Good understanding of building codes, regulations, and authority requirements.
Strong multidisciplinary coordination skills.
Creative, technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong attention to detail and design accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project documentation.
UAE/GCC architectural experience is advantageous.
Professional, organized, reliable, and proactive approach.
