About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Support & Systems Administrator to join a technology-focused team in Australia. The successful candidate will provide technical support to users, maintain IT infrastructure, troubleshoot system issues, and help ensure reliable and secure day-to-day IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide Level 1–2 technical support to employees and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, operating systems, applications, and peripherals.
Administer user accounts, permissions, and access across IT systems.
Support Windows environments, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and related business applications.
Monitor system performance, availability, and basic network infrastructure.
Assist with software updates, patching, backups, and routine maintenance.
Diagnose and resolve technical incidents within agreed service levels.
Maintain IT documentation, asset records, and support procedures.
Assist with cybersecurity, access-control, and IT compliance activities.
Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT or infrastructure teams when required.
Requirements
Diploma or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Relevant experience in IT support, systems administration, or infrastructure support.
Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking.
Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and user-access issues.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a technical team.
Relevant industry certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, or equivalent are advantageous.
