Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Facilities Manager role based in Buchi Naidu Kandriga. The Assistant Facilities Manager will support the Facilities Manager in overseeing the daily operation, maintenance, and safety of company buildings, utilities, and surrounding areas. Key responsibilities include coordinating repairs and preventive maintenance, supervising facility service providers and vendors, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. The role will involve monitoring facility-related budgets, maintaining records, managing inventory of supplies and equipment, and assisting in space planning and office moves. The Assistant Facilities Manager will also help implement facility policies, respond to facility-related issues from employees, and support emergency preparedness and incident reporting.
Qualifications
Experience in facilities management, building operations, or property administration, with the ability to coordinate maintenance, repairs, and services.
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards, with skills in risk assessment, compliance monitoring, and emergency response procedures.
Vendor and contractor management abilities, including negotiating service agreements, supervising work quality, and tracking performance.
Basic budgeting and inventory management skills, including cost tracking, purchasing of supplies, and maintaining asset records.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, address employee facility concerns, and document activities clearly.
Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks, prioritize urgent issues, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with standard office software and facility management tools or systems for reporting, scheduling, and record-keeping.
Relevant diploma or degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; prior experience in industrial or technology facilities is an advantage.
