Role Description The Vendor Relations Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day relationships with vendors, including onboarding, contract coordination, and performance monitoring. The Vendor Relations Specialist will handle vendor inquiries, negotiate terms within defined guidelines, and ensure service levels and quality standards are met. The role includes maintaining accurate vendor records, collaborating with finance and operations teams on invoicing and payment issues, and assisting in the evaluation of vendor performance and cost-effectiveness. The specialist will also support process improvements, contribute to vendor selection, and help resolve escalated issues in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to assess vendor performance, interpret data, and support cost and process optimization.
Candidates should possess excellent Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service capabilities to build effective vendor relationships and address concerns professionally.
Candidates should possess clear and confident Communication skills, both written and verbal, to negotiate terms, document agreements, and collaborate with internal teams.
Candidates should possess foundational Finance knowledge to understand pricing, payment terms, and budget impact related to vendor agreements.
Relevant experience in vendor management, procurement, or operations is highly beneficial.
Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accurate documentation.
Proficiency with spreadsheets and vendor management or ERP software is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
