We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Sales Executive to join our remote team. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who is passionate about travel, enjoys connecting with people, and wants to build a career in sales.
About the Role As a Sales Executive, you’ll help grow Wheel the World by connecting with potential customers and travel partners, understanding their needs, and introducing them to solutions that make travel more accessible. You’ll learn the full sales process—from prospecting and outreach to discovery conversations, follow-ups, and closing opportunities. You’ll work closely with our Sales, Customer Experience, and Operations teams to create great experiences for customers and partners. This role is ideal for someone who is competitive, curious, personable, organized, and excited to develop their sales skills in a mission-driven company.
Responsibilities
Identify and engage with potential customers, partners, and business opportunities.
Conduct outbound outreach through email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels.
Respond to inbound inquiries and help prospective customers understand our products and services.
Learn about prospects' needs and identify opportunities where Wheel the World can help.
Conduct introductory calls and product/service presentations.
Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects throughout the sales process.
Keep customer and prospect information accurate and up to date in our CRM.
Work toward individual and team sales goals.
Collaborate with Account Management, Customer Experience, and Operations teams to ensure a smooth customer journey.
Track sales activity, pipeline progress, and follow-ups.
Learn from customer conversations and share feedback with the team.
Continuously improve your sales approach through coaching, training, and experimentation.
Qualifications
0–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, travel, retail, or a related field—or a strong desire to start a career in sales.
Required Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable speaking with new people and starting conversations.
Strong listening skills and the ability to understand customer needs.
Self-motivated and able to stay productive in a remote environment.
Organized, persistent, and comfortable managing multiple follow-ups.
Comfortable using technology, CRM systems, email, video calls, and other online tools.
Goal-oriented and motivated by achieving measurable results.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and continuously improve.
Preferred Skills
Interest in travel, accessibility, hospitality, or inclusive tourism is a plus.
What Success Looks Like During your first months, you'll focus on learning our products, customers, sales process, and CRM. Over time, you'll be expected to independently manage prospect conversations, maintain a healthy pipeline, consistently follow up, and contribute to new revenue opportunities.
