Coordinator of Volunteers

Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteers is a full-time, on-site role based in São Paulo, SP. This position is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and coordinating volunteers to support Saga’s initiatives and community-focused programs. Day-to-day activities include organizing volunteer schedules, providing training and guidance, monitoring volunteer performance, and ensuring a positive and inclusive experience for all participants. The role also involves developing outreach efforts to attract new volunteers, maintaining accurate records, supporting event logistics, and collaborating with internal teams to align volunteer activities with organizational goals. The Coordinator will continuously evaluate volunteer processes and suggest improvements to enhance engagement and impact.
Qualifications
Strong volunteer coordination abilities, including Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training skills.
Excellent Interpersonal Skills and Communication skills to engage, motivate, and support diverse volunteer groups.
Experience with Community Outreach and relationship-building with local organizations and stakeholders.
Organizational and time management skills to oversee multiple volunteer activities and events simultaneously.
Ability to work on-site in São Paulo, SP, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Prior experience in nonprofit, community programs, or volunteer coordination is an asset.
Proficiency in basic office software and digital tools used for scheduling, tracking, and communication.
