About the Role
Auto Trade Group is seeking a motivated and result-oriented Business Development Executive to support and expand our business presence within the Air Force and Defence sector. The ideal candidate should have experience in defence-related business development, government procurement processes, and client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Air Force, Defence, and Government sectors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Defence organizations, Air Force establishments, government departments, and key stakeholders.
Track and monitor tenders, RFQs, RFPs, and procurement opportunities.
Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, presentations, and bid submissions.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely execution of projects and business requirements.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
Generate leads and convert them into business opportunities.
Support the complete business development cycle from lead generation to order closure.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and business activities.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of the Air Force and Defence ecosystem.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and networking skills.
Ability to build long-term client relationships.
Knowledge of government procurement procedures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and business reporting.
Eligibility CriteriaEducation
B.Tech (Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Electrical, Electronics, or related field)
OR
AME (Aircraft Maintenance Engineering)
Experience
1–3 years of relevant experience in Air Force, Defence, Aviation, Aerospace, Government Sales, or Business Development.
Preferred Skills
Experience in Defence/Aviation business development.
Knowledge of the GeM (Government e-Marketplace) Portal.
Experience in tender management and government procurement.
Existing network within Defence or Aviation sectors will be an added advantage.
Immediate joiners will be preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
