Role Description The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for designing intuitive, accessible, and visually engaging interfaces for NextGenAI’s web and mobile products in a full-time remote capacity. Day-to-day tasks include conducting user research, defining user flows, creating wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes, and iterating on designs based on user feedback and product requirements. The designer will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and content teams to ensure cohesive, user-centered experiences across all platforms. This role also involves maintaining design systems, contributing to brand consistency, and aligning design decisions with regulatory, ethical, and accessibility considerations in digital health.
Qualifications
Strong user experience design skills, including User Experience Design (UED), user flows, and interaction design.
Proficiency in mockups and visual design, with the ability to create clean, consistent, and accessible interfaces.
Experience with prototyping tools and methods to build and test interactive product experiences.
Basic to intermediate Front-End Development skills to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and understand implementation constraints.
Experience with modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and maintaining design systems or component libraries.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage priorities, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
Understanding of accessibility standards and usability best practices, especially for health or wellness applications.
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Previous experience designing for mobile apps or digital health products is a plus.
