Role Description The Director role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kanpur. The Director will oversee overall hospital operations, including clinical services, administrative functions, and support departments, ensuring efficient, safe, and patient-centered care. Responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic plans, monitoring performance metrics, optimizing resource utilization, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. The Director will collaborate closely with medical leadership, nursing teams, academic coordinators, and administrative staff to align hospital activities with organizational goals and educational programs. The role involves budget oversight, quality improvement initiatives, stakeholder communication, and representing the hospital in external partnerships and professional forums.
Qualifications
Strong leadership and management skills, including team leadership, decision-making, and strategic planning.
Experience in hospital or healthcare administration, with knowledge of clinical operations, patient safety, and quality improvement.
Proficiency in healthcare regulatory compliance, accreditation processes, and policy implementation.
Financial and operational management capabilities, including budgeting, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with clinicians, academic staff, and external partners.
Advanced degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Medicine, or a related field; prior experience in a tertiary care or teaching hospital is highly desirable.
Ability to work on-site in Kanpur and commit to a full-time leadership role within a complex, multi-specialty hospital environment.
