Role: Reporting Analyst
Job Type: Contractor with USD payment - Full-time - Remote
This role is central to how the fund tracks borrower performance, monitors loan compliance, and
produces reporting for internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable
working with financial data at volume, and confident following up directly with borrowers to keep
reporting on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Data Entry
• Track and organize property-level financial statements (income statements, balance sheets,
T-12s) received from borrowers
• Spread property financials into standardized formats for use in internal analysis
• Accurately input financial data into internal tracking systems, maintaining consistency and
version control across reporting periods
Rent Roll Management
• Collect, review, and organize rent rolls submitted by borrowers
• Input rent roll data into internal trackers, flagging inconsistencies, missing units, or unusual
variances for team review
Loan Servicing Support
• Track real estate tax payment status and due dates across the loan portfolio
• Monitor insurance policy expirations and coordinate renewal documentation collection
• Maintain accurate records of compliance deadlines tied to loan agreements
Monthly Reporting Support
• Assist in the preparation of the fund’s monthly asset management reporting package
• Ensure underlying data trackers are current and reconciled ahead of reporting deadlines
• Support ad hoc data requests from the asset management team
Borrower Follow-Up & Milestone Tracking
• Proactively follow up with borrowers on outstanding or overdue reporting items (financials,
rent rolls, insurance certificates, tax payment confirmations)
• Track critical business plan dates and milestones (e.g., extension deadlines, completion
dates, covenant testing dates) and flag upcoming items to the team in advance
• Maintain a clear, organized log of outstanding items and follow-up status by borrower/asset
Required Qualifications
• 2–5 years of experience in data entry, financial reporting, real estate operations, or a related
analytical/administrative role
• Advanced Excel proficiency — must be comfortable with VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, pivot
tables, and managing structured, multi-tab workbooks
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial data at volume
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills — this role requires direct, professional correspondence with borrowers
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple trackers, deadlines, and follow-up items
simultaneously
• Self-directed and reliable with recurring, deadline-driven tasks
• Comfortable escalating or flagging discrepancies rather than guessing when data is incomplete or inconsistent
• Comfortable operating under Eastern Standard Timezone business hours
Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with real estate concepts such as rent rolls, T-12 financials, or basic loan terminology (a plus, not required)
• Prior experience in commercial real estate, lending, property management, or fund administration
• Experience working with US-based clients or teams, including comfort with US business communication norms
• Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential financial information
