Role Description The Vice President of Technology Strategy is a full-time, remote role responsible for shaping and executing HealthKois’ technology vision across its investment portfolio and internal operations. This role will evaluate emerging technologies and AI-led models, provide strategic guidance on technology roadmaps for portfolio companies, and support investment teams in technical due diligence. The VP will collaborate with founders, clinical experts, and investment professionals to align technology strategies with healthcare impact, financial performance, and scalability in India and the Global South. Day-to-day activities include leading technology assessments, defining IT and data strategies, advising on digital infrastructure, and monitoring implementation progress across portfolio companies. The role also involves building partnerships with technology providers, contributing to fund-level innovation initiatives, and representing HealthKois at industry events and ecosystem forums.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills to assess technology-driven business models, evaluate AI/healthtech solutions, and support data-driven decision-making.
Deep experience in Information Technology and IT Strategy, including cloud architectures, data platforms, cybersecurity, and digital health technologies.
Proven Project Management capabilities to oversee complex, multi-stakeholder technology initiatives across portfolio companies and internal projects.
Expertise in Strategic Planning, with the ability to design and implement long-term technology roadmaps that align with impact and financial objectives.
Significant leadership experience in technology roles within healthtech, healthcare delivery, life sciences, or related sectors.
Demonstrated experience in or exposure to venture capital, private equity, or growth-stage investing, ideally in technology or healthcare.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage founders, clinicians, investors, and technical teams in diverse geographies.
Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
