Pizza Broski is building a robotics pizza chain by deploying autonomous pizza kiosks across the country. We have secured an exclusivity contract for the United States with one of only a few manufacturers of this technology in the world and have just entered our first round of funding this month. Our team and advisory board is built from people who have done it before at the highest level.
You join the leadership team now, working directly with the CEO on the model, the raise, and the financial strategy, compensated in equity. At close, the role converts to a full-time salaried position. The job will begin remotely and transition to an on-site role in Columbus, OH.
You will manage:
The CFO will directly report to the CEO and own every financial function of the business, from the strategy down to the ledger.
Financial modeling and forecasting, built and refined side by side with the CEO
Unit economics: per-kiosk payback, contribution margin, and the model that governs where and how fast we deploy
Leading the capital raise: materials, model, data room, diligence, investor Q&A
Debt and equipment financing: structuring loans, lender relationships, covenant management
Capital structure, cap table, and dilution planning
Managing investor relationships, reporting, and expectations
Cash management, working capital, and treasury. Banking relationships and all company accounts.
Vendor and supplier contracts, payment terms, and negotiation alongside operations
Accounting operations: AP, AR, payroll, monthly close, and audit readiness
Tax strategy, regulatory and multi-state compliance as we deploy across markets
Franchise finance: FDD financial disclosures, royalty and fee structures, franchisee unit economics
Financial systems, controls, and reporting infrastructure that scale nationally
You bring:

15+ years in finance, beginning your career in investment banking
Direct experience executing M&A or capital raise transactions from start to close. You have sat in the deal, not next to it.
Expert-level financial modeling. This is a hands-on seat — you and the CEO will spend real time in the model together, testing scenarios and pressure-testing the plan. You can pick up an existing model, understand its architecture quickly, and reshape it on the spot.
Multi-unit, franchise, restaurant, retail, or consumer experience strongly preferred
IPO experience preferred
Exceptional organizational skills and detail orientation
Ability and willingness to roll up the sleeves and handle tasks personally
