Role Description The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and driving operational excellence across the company’s software and web development services. The COO will align business and operational strategies, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards. Key responsibilities include optimizing processes, managing resource allocation, overseeing financial performance and budgets, and implementing policies that support sustainable growth. The role will collaborate closely with the executive leadership team on business planning, performance metrics, risk management, and client satisfaction initiatives. The COO will also play a key role in mentoring managers, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and supporting strategic partnerships and global expansion.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Business Planning skills, including strategic planning, goal setting, and performance tracking.
Candidates should possess solid Operations Management skills to optimize workflows, manage teams, and improve service delivery.
Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support informed decision-making.
Candidates should possess Finance and Budgeting skills to manage P&L, forecast costs and revenues, and allocate resources effectively.
Experience in software or IT services, particularly in outsourcing or global delivery environments, is highly beneficial.
Proven leadership experience in a senior operational role, with the ability to manage remote and cross-cultural teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, management, finance, or a related field is preferred.
