Role Description The Vice President of Field Services is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing all client-facing implementation, support, and optimization activities for Dial Square ERP solutions. This role leads field service teams that manage ERP deployments, configuration, training, and ongoing operational support for Financials, Distribution, EDI, Business Intelligence, WMS, and RF scanning environments. The Vice President will set service delivery standards, refine methodologies, and ensure consistent execution across projects and engagements. Daily responsibilities include supervising regional leaders, reviewing project performance, resolving escalated client issues, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to improve serviceability and customer outcomes. The role also involves forecasting resource needs, managing budgets, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and representing the field services organization in strategic customer and partner discussions.
Qualifications
Demonstrated leadership experience managing field services, professional services, or customer success teams in an ERP or enterprise software environment.
Strong background in ERP operational support across areas such as Financials, Distribution, EDI, Business Intelligence, Warehouse Management Systems, or RF scanning for manufacturing.
Proven ability to design and optimize service delivery processes, including implementation methodologies, support workflows, and escalation management.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills, with experience interacting with executive-level client contacts.
Track record of driving performance metrics, managing budgets, and forecasting resource requirements for multi-project portfolios.
Experience working in remote, distributed teams and using digital collaboration tools to coordinate cross-functional efforts.
Analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate client needs into actionable service improvements and product feedback.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, ERP-specific) are beneficial.
Familiarity with manufacturing operations and supply chain processes, particularly in environments using WMS and RF scanning technologies.
