Executive Vice President

Role Description The Executive Vice President is a full-time remote role responsible for leading strategic planning, business development, and operational excellence across Boubars Engineering Company’s industrial engineering services. The person in this role will oversee key functions including engineering projects, manufacturing operations, consulting services, and safety and environmental training, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client requirements. Daily activities include setting and monitoring performance targets, reviewing major project proposals, guiding cross-functional teams, and making decisions on resource allocation, budgets, and timelines. The Executive Vice President will build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners, support market expansion initiatives, and represent the company in high-level negotiations and industry forums. This role will also mentor senior leaders, promote a culture of safety, quality, and innovation, and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications
Leadership and management skills, including strategic planning, executive decision-making, and team leadership.
Industrial engineering and operations expertise, ideally in mining, oil and gas, petrochemicals, or heavy manufacturing sectors.
Experience with mechanical systems and equipment, such as pumps, compressors, gearboxes, and industrial machinery design or optimization.
Background in project management, including commissioning, start-up, and operation readiness planning for industrial projects.
Knowledge of safety standards, environmental regulations, and best practices for industrial workplaces and training programs.
Strong business development and client relationship management skills, with the ability to drive growth in engineering services.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities in a multicultural and cross-functional environment.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent executive education is an advantage.
Proven experience in a senior leadership role within an engineering or industrial company, including remote team oversight.
Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, using digital collaboration tools and data-driven decision-making.
