Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cybersecurity SOC Trainer Specialised in Azure Sentinel Tool who possesses real-time industry knowledge and hands-on experience in Security Operations.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication and presentation skills and be capable of delivering high-quality cybersecurity training sessions. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and practical sessions on SOC operations, SIEM, EDR, Malware Analysis, and Threat Intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver live and interactive training sessions focused on SOC (Security Operations Center) processes and tools.
Teach key cybersecurity concepts, including:
SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Qradar, etc.)
Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)
Malware analysis and reverse engineering basics
Threat Intelligence and Incident Response
Develop and present real-time use cases, scenarios, and project-based learning.
Take full ownership of the training module delivery, ensuring participant engagement and learning outcomes.
Provide hands-on lab exercises and guidance for tools and simulations.
Address learner queries and support their technical understanding.
Collaborate with the content team to update and enhance training materials as needed.
Requirements:
3+ years of working experience in a SOC environment or cybersecurity operations.
Strong practical knowledge in SIEM, EDR, Threat Intelligence, and Malware Analysis.
Prior experience in training, mentoring, or public speaking is a plus.
Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Passion for teaching and guiding students in launching cybersecurity careers.
Flexibility to conduct sessions during evenings or weekends (online).
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant certifications like or Splunk/SIEM certifications.
Experience working with tools like Splunk, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, or Wireshark.
Familiarity with incident detection, triage, investigation, and reporting processes.
