The organization emphasizes 24/7 support and positions itself as a provider of total power solutions rather than only equipment rental.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Business Development role based in Mumbai. The role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for genset rentals and power solutions, including prospecting, lead generation, and follow-up with industrial, commercial, and infrastructure clients. The Sales Business Development professional will conduct market research, analyze customer requirements, prepare proposals and quotations, and support contract negotiations. Daily tasks include visiting customer sites, presenting solution-oriented offerings, coordinating with service and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery, and maintaining strong customer relationships for repeat business. The role also includes tracking sales performance, reporting on pipeline and market trends, and representing the company at meetings, events, and industry forums as needed.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively engage with clients, understand requirements, and build long-term relationships.
Candidates should possess Lead Generation and Market Research skills to identify potential customers, explore new segments, and develop targeted sales strategies.
Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret market data, evaluate sales performance, and support pricing and contract decisions.
Candidates should have basic knowledge or interest in power solutions, generators, or industrial equipment sales; experience in B2B sales or rental services is an advantage.
Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in MS Office or similar tools, the ability to work independently in the field, and readiness to travel within Mumbai and nearby regions.
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, along with a valid driving license for client visits.
