About Position:
We are seeking a highly experienced AWS Architect to lead cloud modernization and digital transformation initiatives for a large-scale Insurance client. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in AWS cloud architecture, application modernization, containerization, and cloud-native transformation strategies. This role requires strong technical leadership capabilities to guide engineering teams, influence architectural decisions, and design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions. Prior experience in the Insurance domain is mandatory.

What You'll Do:
Lead end-to-end cloud transformation and modernization programs on AWS.
Define and implement cloud-native architecture strategies aligned with business objectives.
Assess existing applications and infrastructure and develop modernization roadmaps.
Guide teams in selecting appropriate AWS services, deployment models, and architectural patterns.
Drive architectural decisions involving EKS, ECS, EC2, serverless, and container-based solutions.
Design highly scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-optimized cloud platforms.
Lead cloud migration, re-platforming, and application modernization initiatives.
Collaborate with development, operations, security, and business stakeholders.
Establish cloud governance frameworks, standards, and best practices.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation strategies.
Support client-facing discussions, architecture reviews, and technology consulting engagements.
Ensure compliance, security, performance, and operational excellence across AWS environments.
Expertise You'll Bring:
9 to 15 years of overall IT experience with significant experience in AWS Architecture and Cloud Transformation.
Strong hands-on expertise in AWS services including EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, Route 53, and API Gateway.
Proven experience in enterprise cloud modernization and digital transformation programs.
Deep understanding of containerization technologies, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
Strong knowledge of cloud migration, application re-platforming, and cloud-native development practices.
Experience architecting and modernizing .NET and SQL-based applications.
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar automation tools.
Experience implementing DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
Strong understanding of security, networking, monitoring, and governance in AWS environments.
Excellent stakeholder management, consulting, and client engagement skills.
Ability to lead architecture reviews and provide strategic technology recommendations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Mandatory experience working within the Insurance domain.
