Role Description The SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) Consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting SAP SD solutions that optimize order-to-cash processes for Vistex clients. Day-to-day activities include gathering business requirements, performing system analysis, creating functional specifications, and implementing SD configurations related to pricing, billing, delivery, and sales orders. The consultant will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, provide user training, troubleshoot incidents, and support integration with related SAP modules (such as MM, FI, and Vistex solutions). This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, requiring regular interaction with stakeholders and participation in project workshops and reviews.
Qualifications
Strong SAP SD expertise, including configuration of sales orders, delivery, billing, pricing, and credit management.
Experience with requirements gathering, business process mapping, and solution design in sales and distribution.
Knowledge of integration between SAP SD and other modules such as MM, FI/CO, and Vistex incentive management solutions.
Ability to perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing, including documentation of results.
Proficiency in analyzing issues, troubleshooting defects, and providing timely production support.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate in cross‑functional and client‑facing environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field; SAP SD certification is an advantage.
Prior consulting or implementation experience in enterprise or global environments; exposure to incentive, pricing, or rebate processes is beneficial.
