Role Description The Animator is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune Division. This role involves creating high-quality character and environment animations for long-form series and episodic content, aligned with project style guides and narrative requirements. Day-to-day activities include interpreting storyboards and animatics, working with motion capture data, developing motion graphics sequences, and collaborating with directors and other artists to refine timing, performance, and visual storytelling. The Animator will participate in review sessions, incorporate feedback efficiently, and maintain production standards across multiple episodes. The role also includes close coordination with production teams to meet deadlines while ensuring technical accuracy and creative fidelity.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess Animation and Motion Capture skills to produce expressive, technically sound character and scene animations.
Candidates should possess Storyboarding and Motion Graphics skills to support visual storytelling and create dynamic sequences.
Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively with directors, production teams, and fellow artists.
Proficiency in industry-standard animation tools (e.g., Maya, Blender, or equivalent) and familiarity with compositing pipelines.
Understanding of timing, weight, acting principles, and cinematic language for long-form and episodic content.
Ability to work on-site in Pune Division, manage multiple tasks, and meet production deadlines in a fast-paced studio environment.
Relevant diploma or degree in Animation, Fine Arts, Media, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience in series production, streaming or broadcast animation workflows is an advantage.
